Summer @ MPN

Summer @ MPN

Amos is a book in the Old Testament and we're going to read it and learn from it over the summer.  Written around 760BC you might wonder what the point in reading it is – I think you might be surprised.  It talks about tumoil in the Middle East, pitting nation against nation.  It talks about justice and fairness in society.  It talks about the relationship between public and private morality.  It talks against hardhearted individuals and corrupt social structures.  Listen to any news broadcast today and these are the topics you'll hear.

Amos brings a message from God to the people of his day, but it still makes sense today.  Find out more on Sunday mornings at 11am in the main church building.

The Gathering and Messy Church have a break in July but will be back in August.

The Friendsheep Knitting Group meets in Prestwick at 2.30pm each Wednesday.  Some people are just learning to knit and some are very experienced knitters, so whatever your level you’re welcome.

The group is intended to be a  community project where people can share and learn skills whilst building friendships and just enjoying each other’s company, all while taking on projects knitting for others, at home and abroad.

The group meets in the small room at the rear of the main church building (access through the door to the right of the hall doors)
