Worship - Focus Group

Many of our Church family and friends will testify to the fact that prayer changes THINGS ... strength to cope with difficult problems like family crisis or school exams; being upheld in hospital through an operation and even while awaiting one, like being given an earlier date; comfort and peace in the humdrum of daily life, in fact our God longs to help with all our cares and worries.

We in the Focus Group liken ourselves to the four men who lowered their sick friend through the roof to the feet of Jesus (Mark 2), and we never cease to be amazed at God's gracious answers to our prayers for others. We are seeking to obey God's Word for his Church, "is any one of you in trouble? Then he should pray" (James 5 13-16), and our loving, faithful, all-knowing Father encourages us.

The Prayer Cross in our church is available to anyone who wishes a prayer request for themselves, friends or family. The list is printed out each week and is available to prayer warriors in our church family. The Focus Group have the Prayer Cross before them and pray for those on the cross. Do make use of the Prayer Cross

The Focus Group meet in the Session House on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am to 11.00am.
