Shoebox Appeal 2020

Shoebox Appeal 2020

Despite the difficulties that they face every day, through poverty, illness, disability, or other disadvantages, receiving a shoebox brings such joy to children and adults in Eastern Europe, that their faces light up with huge smiles.

You can make such a difference to lives that are otherwise almost hopeless.

We will once again be collecting filled shoeboxes for the Blythswood Care Shoebox Appeal.

Things are of course a bit different this year as the church building remains closed. Jeanette Munro will be organising it from home so if you would like a leaflet listing what to put in your box please give her a call on 470470 or 07833 334170, or download one below. You may not want to visit multiple shops for items this year but all items can be found in a supermarket or shop like Home Bargains at Heathfield.

Filled shoeboxes should be returned to Jeanette or contact her if you would like someone to pick them up. Pick up date is still to be confirmed but is usually early November. Please contact Jeanette if you have any questions or problem such as needing a shoebox or help wrapping one. With so many churches still closed numbers are bound to be down so every box filled will be even more gratefully received.
